Was never a cheese fan so wasn't something I missed but wow the cathedral city is so good. Lived up to the hype.
-

I'm not sure what they've done because the ingredients are the same as all the others, it's not one of the fancy cultured ones.

Have tried this twice…

It’s awful
Fills the room with fetid rank feet stink
Sorry :( -

Yeah no idea. Even melts pretty well too.

It does smell a bit, but so does actual cheese.

That could be the issue
Stinky cheese gonna stinky -
• #9912
It's pretty stinky but nothing compared to a brie I was gifted once for lending a Frenchman a bike whilst he worked the cheese stall at Manchester Xmas markets.

The winter market pop-up thingy in front of the town hall?
They were really good
Went when fam were at uni there which, terrifyingly now I recall is nearly a decade ago :( -
• #9914
One of those, yeah, polo friend who has a brother who lives local and comes over most Xmas seasons to work the markets, I should see if he's about this year actually, not for cheese though.

Mince pie research has led me to these bangers. The whippable cream did not whip but it tasted good. They mince pies were incredible, really short pastry and tasty filling.
-

Will have to get my mitts on some! I've been lagging behind in my mince pie consumption this year. Need to get my shit together.
