My John Lewis is an AEG, I actually found the equivalent models at the time I was buying, the JL was cheaper by £50.
I really like that all four burners have the same output and the power boost is possible on all four burners (only 2 at a time though).
I recommend finding out what features are available on the different hobs and work out which you want.
Power boost, combining two burners and equal power in all 4 rings were what I was after.

I think that sounds like a sensible feature set - coming from gas so essentially no features at all. Zanussi and AEG seem to be the same products also - though I have no idea whether the similarity is only skin deep.
There's something appealingly middle-class normcore about having John Lewis written on the hob.

My AEG sounds very similar to that, that's the criteria I had two.
There were deals on installation too which changed what was the best price, and finding something that was actually in stock.
Mine replaced a crappy Bosch ceramic one which had a terrible touchpad so I was willing to spend a bit more to get something that actually registered me pressing the buttons.
I also wanted a separate touch area for each burner rather than having to select a burner and then change the power.
