Wow, sounds horrific. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

Peak was conceding a 4th really 😉
11 changes though right? Pickford's saving a couple of them for sure.
It was the spine of the 'hell' team from last season and we got the same kind of performance. Big defelection for the first, slip/comedy error for the second, then just no disciple or focus for the last two. Also missed three absolutely golden chances in the first half. Without going full sunday league, there were no leaders at all. Tarkowski and Coady make such a difference to us. Really need a win on saturday. Or at least not a loss.

Well in Forest.
We should be beating Spurs at home.
With our B team out. Against Spurs' strongest side. In the only competition they can win.

Ivan Toney fucked it with the recent betting scandal. Silly boy.
-
• #162787
I think it probably came down to him or Wilson and Wilson is the one in the best form at the moment (although the allegations probably didn't help).
Looking at those players I struggle to put together a decent team, particularly in defence.

Milan's disastrous 2 Champions League games against Chelsea really screwed over Tomori's chances

Has anyone's star fallen faster than Jaden Sancho's? Barring scandals like.

Marching powder for everyone at half time in the Man U / Villa game.
Lively start to the 2nd half

It’s a good squad, that Areola is a bit of a tit, though.

yet again city get the weakest team in the draw, it's beyond ridiculous
-
• #162795
Think camavinga could have a great tournament. While the spot light will be on Mbape and rightly so he is brilliant. The back up from that midfield will be so important

I haven't heard about this. What's the story?

Basically the Sun and a few others got wind of him betting at a previous club and ran it this week.
Whether or not he's guilty, it's perfect timing for squad choice. As said above, it's almost certainly not the sole reason he's not in the squad but it might have been the deciding factor between him and Wilson.Fingers crossed we don't have any penalty shootouts :D

• #162798
Classic scummy Sun. A front page EXCLUSIVE... that includes literally zero details. English tabloid journalism at it's finest.
Like you say, probably wasn't going to take him anyway. He didn't get any minutes in those Nations League games after his call up.
Good to see James Maddison make the squad though!
