    I installed the adapter with the bolt on cog installed and a chainwhip.
    Stupidly first without spacers, scratching up the hub body in the process.
    Then installed the cog on the 6 bolt side, disc on the adapter side now with two 1mm spacers. The threading of the cog side is in the right direction for the brake forces.

    Benefit: being able to use bolt on cog I had lying around and the best mount option for it. It's much better then the normal counterthreaded lockring method.
    Downside: hub branding is the wrong way around.
    Result: double bolt on hub using an off the peg readily available hub.
