I would feel vastly inferior to smirch this carefully curated content with my potato phone pictures but if I have your permission I will. Don't judge me though.
It's the same as your solution but with a more expensive surly hub. And it's the fixed version but there are freewheel versions of the new ultra hub.
I did need to add spacers to the disc bolts to clear the hub body with the threaded adapter but it now works.
