Had been reading about this new Plague Tale thing, first one had gone completely under my radar. While on the fence I watched a video review mentioning it was on gamepass that I keep forgetting I have. Which was nice.
It looks incredible - in terms of both art direction and graphics quality - unless you really dislike rats. There are a lot of rats.
The protagonist isn't as endearing as Aloy or Ellie, and after a few hours the stealth gameplay is starting to feel a bit limited and repetitive. Having got used to many third-person games being rather open it seems very linear, at least as far as I've got.

Spoiler alert: There really are a lot of rats.
