Just missed the CW Bell Canto... So annoyed

Those are really nice.

3.000 retail is ridiculous though. Even if it's a in house movement.

I saw a photo of this earlier in the week but had no idea it was a CW. Purely from an architecture/aesthetics point of view, it's absolutely insane that it was only £2,995. Looks like an MB&F or something that costs a 100 grand.

I'm massively disappointed

If you really want one I can ask. I don't know if there's another colour coming though.

Is it the standard brushed oyster style one from the regular SRPEs? If so I agree it felt below par for the quality of the actual watch. Much prefer the US jubilee (even though it also has folded end links and a snap clasp).

Really? I saw this and nearly vomitted on my own shoes. Can't stand it.
The belcanto however is giving off budget greubel foresey vibes and I like it

Nice!

cant believe I'm saying this, I quite like that.

Yeah, standard oyster style. I read that the strapcode jubilee artificially increases lug to lug quite substantially due to the end link length, over the Seiko bracelet. Do you know if the uncle Seiko does the same?

Also with Seiko today. The first automatic watch I bought with the thought that it would save me money as I wouldn't need to buy batteries ...

Why you have contacts?
-
• #67990
Yeah they sponsor me. I'd have to ask first before saying I could get hold of one.

I believe the Strapcode end links are "male", i.e. they extend out and the bracelet hinges from the middle bit poking out (modern Rolex style). Whereas the Uncle Seiko one is the classic "female" folded end link where it's really just a cover for the spring bar, and the bracelet hinges from the spring bar.

I haven't put the Seiko bracelet on purely because I think it looks a bit shit. Still unsure whether to get a Strapcode or Uncle Seiko. Also, its 'cold' af here right now and I think a bracelet will make my wrist cold in the mountains - ha
