Great clue, but only once you know the history ;)
edit: apologies, I forgot how much you hate the @ reply...

All you need is a person's name, real or fictional, and add it to a certain word in my tag description and you are there.
-
• #27855
More clues if any one still needs them though.

• #27856
Terry Mincemeat! Of course

• #27857
Too cryptic @wiganwill

There is, for once, actually a map. A map that will lead you right to it with a bit of effort.

Old: Hackney Mortuary, part of Operation Mincemeat 1943, the old dump a dead body full of bogus war plans to outfox the enemy trick.
The idea was apparently suggested in a govt document of deception tricks called Trout Memo 1939 compiled by Ian Fleming (pre Bond) who acknowledged the idea was from a 1937 novel Milliner’s Hat Mystery by Basil Thomson.
Pretty cunning. Great tag.

Nice one.
The link from my tag to aglet's was the sculpture trail. -

So, although you're searching for a fox, the best way to find it is to look for the hounds.

• #27864
I know where it is.
Which is not near me.
With much rain betwixt. -
