Changing gear would be a bit tricky (and expensive)

I was assuming you’d convert to a chain! Or do belt drives mean the frame has weird spacing / chainline? I know nothing about belts.

Oh yeah a chain would make sense. Belt sprockets and rings aren't cheap!

Congratulations on Andy West of LFGSS winning the Vet prize at the Catford CC Hill Climb this morning but I want to know why you didn't ride fixed? :D allegedly 54" is the optimum gear for it
