I’ve had it 5 years, it’s had a service and a Brompton warranty repair on the front end. I’m probably just gonna get it serviced soon by my local Brompton dealer. Last service was pre Covid.
I a weird way it’s my favourite bike and I have put it through the mill. Sleeve probs knackeredCheers all

So as an experiment and for future reference, now en route back to London on Eurostar and tried checking in the Brompton without bagging it to see if they enforce it, and lo and behold they do - didn't get past first ticket gate without being told to bag it up, got it in the bag a bit better this time though!

I miss my brompton, made all the worse by seeing them everywhere the last few weeks. :(
Saw a bloke get off the eurostar and unfold, and away he went through paris. never been more jealous. He had a soft bike bag thing he just rolled up and bungee'd to his rack.

Also this is a complete rip off something I’ve done a few years ago.
A lot of people initial impressions was that they thought I was in a wheelchair 🫤

Anyone seen/used this bag before? I have a (mostly) modded Brompton with kinetics stuff so it’s a bit wider than normal and wondered if this would work: https://carradice.co.uk/shop/accessories/folding-bike-case/
I have the standard IKEA Dimpa bag and it doesn’t quite fit. Fine for keeping the house tidy, not so fine to take it anywhere.

I just got one of these as Sigma Sports we’re doing them for £40 delivered at the moment. Bigger than I expected, ridiculously bright in all directions. Nice that it can be mounted near the top of the stem - I don’t like the low mount lights for city use.

What's is it light riding with it on a Brompton?
Just worried it doesn't shine enough to the floor and more to on coming traffic eyeline.

wanting to stick a cateye light on your brompton? I just got a couple of the multi S brackets in, just screw on a cateye mount and away you go!

I have this bag , quite strong but I got a friend with a sewing machine to reinforce the shoulder straps area …. I’ve flown the Brompton in it a few times - no damage ….
The question is why you lubing it in the first place?
