This is a risk with the PCC unfortunately. It is a great little cinema, but some of their customers are noisy performative dickheads. I can’t remember which film it was I went to see there that I walked out of part way through as I could no longer bear the “isn’t it hilarious how ironic I am” braying emanating from the row in front of me, but it was either leave or start kicking seats.

I saw Hostel with a video Q&A with the director afterwards at PCC when it first came out.
The rest of the audience seemed to be incel gore bros clapping and guffawing at all the most gruesome scenes.
That screening cemented my dislike for anything in the "torture porn" genre, mainly for the audience it courts.
The Exorcist was so good on the big screen. I keep forgetting how irritating other people watching horror films at the cinema can be though. Constant laughter throughout all of the most intense/ inappropriate scenes. Maybe I'm just a miserable fuck though.
