Thanks @veLLo, I really like it and it gets me out because it can handle both studded tyres and the single track close to home.
@Tijs the Archer works really well, I can reach the shifters from the hoods so that's good.
The mechanics and shifting is good, battery life so far so good (normal AA and AAA batteries work in a cinch).
The only thing I can complain about is that I haven't figured out how to re-connect it with the app to adjust the gears after changing wheel/cassette. That's probably my lack of commitment and incompetence in play rather than the Archer hardware and software.
Also newer shifters have the option to micro adjust from the shifters, and I plan on getting new ones that are designed for the Hylex

I agree that the wotsit doesn't look that good, it's suppose to look like in the pictures below. I'm more and more inclined to do something about it, maybe not for the gram, but because of heel rub.
