Yep. And obviously he still needs somewhere to live after this. It’s very unlikely there’s profit considering how borrowed up he was, he ended up essentially only owning a share in the building with his investors. If there is profit it’s very minimal considering 10 years of strife. It was a disaster.
They bought the house for £1.5m
As far as I can tell they borrowed everything - 8% interest was mentioned. £6m + interest + £1.5m - agent fees, 10 years of rent etc then it doesn’t strike me as much profit
