I watched the lighthouse episode last night too.
couple things struck me, one was how interesting the other house was he built on the site which felt far more inviting than the visitor centre built next to it and the windows looked chunky and dated as the build took so long, i’m sure if it was built today the frames would be slimmer and still be up to coastal conditions.
the place lacked any intrinsic aesthetic quality but will no doubt make a footballer or tech wizard happy for a bit.
