Meh. Looks uncomfortable ??

Not bad, not great either.
Straps have magnets to keep in place, can't imagine it's super comfortable with heavier loads.

Aren't you bound by the spokesmodel code?

Nah, I told them their T-line was shit. (Probably won't be working with them anytime soon).

My thoughts exactly.

I'm off to Paris for a few days work this weekend - I really want to take a Brompton and experience Paris like that, has anyone taken one on a Eurostar recently - what do they mean by a protective bag for it? Can arrange if needed, but obvs don't want to get to the station and have got it wrong!
Edit - I went a few weeks ago and a guy rolled out of Gare du Nord with one, didn't see what he did about any type of bag though!

Oh that's good, thanks - it directed me to this one, which looks similar and would arrive tomorrow. Thanks!

Is the tab at the back of the rack meant to bear against the mudguard? Does it matter if it does? Everything is tightened up in the pic.

Only if removing the stays completely
-
• #12265
I only removed one stay. There doesn't seem to be any adjustment to allow me to move the rack away from the mudguard. Just worried it will crack the guard over time. I guess I can bend the tab up a bit.

Just take off all the stays and bolt the guard to the rack, proper job.

Nah, no bag needed, just carry it on and wedge it between the seats.
A folded Brompton is a luggage not a bike.
IF you ever need a bag, the IKEA Dimpa is the perfect bag.
Edit: Didn't see the Dimpa was already mentioned.

I bought a bag on eBay for use on Eurostar (listing was like "Brompton bag - heavy duty - perfect size - luggage" etc.). Cost me about £12. When it arrived, I realised it was a detagged version of the IKEA Dimpa bag. Thing is, that's such a good hustle someone's come up with, I'm not even mad. And yes, it's a perfect size.

I’m regretting not getting a black rack …
Why on earth did I get it in silver.

Ok, I've done that. Not very pretty, I had to cut a bolt with some bolt cutters and take out the stay bolts leaving four holes. Any suggestions for filling them up other than heli tape? Also got one of the telescopic wheel things from AliExpress.

Yes, I thought about silver as I have a white bike, but settled on black in the end.

Much better! Now trim the guard to in between the two holes and fit a rear guard flap; or you can add another hole with a second front flap!

i'm curious ... how is that telescopic/wheel extender thing?

Works like this. Not sure how durable it will be, but it's a nifty design.
