The baller bit of Vitsoe is the cupboards and especially the drawers. If you are going Vitsoe shelves hanging from the walls (i.e. no fancy framework) it's good value in comparison with custom carpentry especially considering the resale value. You can buy it in bits too to spread the cost.

the shelves have a wonderful finish. As said above, the pricing is pretty good, all things considered.
Cabinets and drawers and other hinged things are exponentially expensive, but the feel and quality follows.

on a scale of 1-10 how baller is that vitsoe stuff? have been taking notes of the forum-approved suppliers for various things ahead of a forever-home house move, but the pricing is hard to compare to less modular stuff. I'm up for buying well and buying once, but we're definitely not golf club candidates
