That the whole reason I am getting a different powder coat now. There isn't a RAL that matches very well

Mmm tempting. I sort of have a long mech 6800, a long 5800 and a short 5800. And it's not like it's easy to sell those so I should use them before investing in anything else. Also I am considering stripping and polishing one of the 5800 to obtain the full wanker VMB look

Soooo... My trip to Plague Island was obviously lovely. Nice to meet some forumgers IRL.
As expected I picked up some viruses I have been suffering from since.

Anyways today was the first day since Bespoked i felt reasonably well so my assistant and I went to the workshop. I had little energy but managed to get some ideas out of my head.

Most exciting was some bar ends i have been meaning to do for a while. I have loads of scrap bits from an exhibition and they fit into bars quite nicely so all I had to do was trim, shape and cut a groove for an o-ring.

Very nice bar ends. Would it be an idea to make the diameter slightly bigger, so it sits flush with the bar tape?

WELL!!!! It is made from scrap so no changing the diameter.
But I think it will look nice with the bar tape I have in mind. But working om some swag cotton bar tape... I think it will sit just right

If I am correct the diameter is slightly bigger than the bars? So cotton tape would indeed look good because it’s so thin.
