  • i meant for me to get a nice steel canti frame to attach it to :)

  • Very happy theyve turned out well!

  • Thanks! yeah fillets, its been nice to diversify a bit but i get tired of the filing quickly.

Im extremely syked about the jig, was a bit apprehensive as it was a fair chunk of change for me, but no buyers remorse so far, its so nice.

  • Excellent updates dude, looking forward to seeing that giant track frame!

  • I've got a Ritchey WCS carbon canti fork, new and unused, which I'd be willing to part with for a modest sum if you're interested.

Edit: But it's a straight 1 1/8th steerer so might be no good.

  • Amazing work Max - that stem is bonkers!

  • Thanks! @DrDave @jono84 !

@Brommers That might be good actually, i think they can look quite good internal on a 44mm headtube. Ill drop you a pm!

  • That stem is something else, love it.

  • did urban hill climb on the cargo bike, was interesting with 35kgs onboard. not exactly what its designed for but was fine in the end. handling was very strange with 17kgs of water sloshing around at each end hah

  • Rarely post but just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread. Stunning bikes!

  • i also put together a "climbing" wheelset for the purple road bike. Very happy with it as the only (summer) road bike i have now having parted out the disc bike.
Wheelset is tune hubs/dtrr411 rims/cxrays. Came out pretty damn light. went to the alps with it earlier in the summer and felt amazing, braking was good and it feels so fit for purpose over there. sadly dont really have any great pics of the bike from that trip.

  • big track frame is coming along, mitred up the front end, havent decided yet what dropouts i wanna use. I have some plate ones currently but would much rather use hooded, will sleep on it and see.

  • My plan is to get one other frame done fairly soon then can drop them both off with the powdercoater. Ive wanted to do another isp frame for a while, so am gonna build an isp road bike. Ive been putting it off as wasnt sure how to to do the seat tube but i think ive figured out a way that i like. Will use a straight gauge tube for the lower section of the seat tube, and weld a thicker wall tuber to the end of it like i did with the collar on the mtb frame i built a while back. The thicker wall tube will be the bit that i weld the top tube junction to and extend past that to be the isp.

  • That was extremely satisfying.

  • Columbus do a seat tube which is butted at the bottom but has a long length of thicker butting at the top, it's about 750 long. It would be on the thin side as it's just 1mm wall for the top section but as you're not a big rider, I think it would be enough and would save you a lot of weight

  • Really regret selling these...

Want to build me a frame to ease the pain ;)

  • I think I might too, where did you acquire such a jig?

  • Great work!
