Our cat started eating grass and vomiting a lot, pretty much after every meal. Although he continued to loudly demand it, food refusal followed. The vet ran all sorts of inconclusive tests and we tried loads of different foods but he didn’t really take to any of them and started to lose weight. Strangely, apart from not eating, he was in usual spirits, wanting plenty of fuss and firm tummy rubs.
Last Wednesday the vet decided to give him a scan and worst fears were realised. Outcome is he has not long to go and we’re keeping him as comfortable as possible (he remains in good spirits). We’ve got another visit to the vet on Wednesday that I’m not looking forward to.
Here he is, poor shaved boy
one of our cats is eating grass and making herself sick.
this has been an occasional thing in the past but normally only one episode at a time, whereas now she has been sick maybe 4 times in the last 36 hours.
could it be just because the lawn is now really long and lush after there being no grass for months? or is that a stupid idea and I should be more worried?
