Wood carving tool set

A set of nice quality wood carving tools, lightly used. Suitable for beginner skills or more advanced jobs.

4mm flat for fine work
1/25 flat for larger jobs
Pfeil 5/8 slightly curved
Pfeil scoop/gouge for hollowing out
Flexcut USA hand carving knife (small but so sharp!
Spoke shave- fairly basic but useful tool
Shogun Japanese hand saw for fine cuts

Dark green Leather tool roll for storing these and more as you add to your collection. Ordered off etsy and made specifically to fit these tool sizes and other common sizes.

There is very slight surface rust on some of the tools which will easily clean off or you can ignore like I did. It’s just from them sitting in a slightly damp garage over winter I think.

Not sure if you’re joking or I misunderstood! Wood, any wood in theory. I’ve used them to make lamps, key rings, add details to wooden kids toys, some faces for a gate post, details on coat hooks, small brush handles, and a few custom catapults. Also used the larger chisel for fine shaving behind door hinges and such like on larger scale DIY jobs though I tried to avoid using them for this.
Mainly I used naturally wind blown wood picked up in my local forest and dried at home but occasionally I bought carving blocks to practise on. These tools don’t really struggle with any type of wood.
There’s some great threads on here of people far more clever than me carving amazing stuff.
If you want to have a go at some easy stuff a book called Catapults and Key Hooks is good!
