  • I’m curious… in the internal comm’s that went out in your workplace about the queen’s passing, was there any space given to:

    • acknowledging the trauma this could stir up for marginalised folk?
    • offering spaces and permission to express a range of responses?
    • explicit naming of the complex and harmful history of the monarchy?
    • any acknowledgment of the right to opt out or feel neutral?

    Or did the message contain an assumption that everyone would be experiencing grief /mourning /respect etc?
