  • Wow, @ltc thanks for linking me to this, there are some beautiful bikes in this thread.

Here's a photo of the Mr Pink, I still have some tinkering to do but its ride-able and I love it. Its my first steel bike and now I see what all the fuss is about.

I am hoping to get winter ready with some bigger tyres & mudguards at some point.

  • I'm really glad you're enjoying it! It brought me a lot of joy and it was a really hard decision to sell it. The build's looking good, could do with some sleeker bottle cages if I'm being picky.
I enjoyed it most with fatter tyres, it's not noticeably slower but much more comfortable, especially if you're in the saddle all day.
I'm going to see if the mudguards that came off this will fit my Zig Zag, if not I'll let you know and you're welcome to them, they're already cut to the exact right size (which was a load of faff) so would save you a job!

  • Yeah new bottle cages are on my tinkering list, I want some traditional looking metal ones to go with the steel styling. I have some mudguards for my old frame but having a look at them I think they will only take a 28mm tyre so let me know how it goes with the ZigZag.
Looking forward to seeing the ZigZag build.
