Do you mind me asking what you mean by 'overarching back'? Is that excessive lumbar bend? If so, what was his hypothesis?
I ask because this is something I've struggled with an 2 bike fits have provided (wildly) differing 'solutions'.
In the videos my back arched from the bottom of my back almost all the way to my neck. This flexing of the spine is a stress position rather then neutral.
The proposed fit is a neutral back and it’s pretty much straight now.
