All hospital appointments cancelled for Monday. She's determined to take as many people as she can with her.

Bit of a longshot, but I'm starting to get the impression that you aren't particularly fond of the Queen!

To be fair the hospital appointments is annoying. My partner has an appointment on the 19th which will be cancelled, which was already delayed from months ago.
So probably another few months wait.

• #3305
Absolute fuckin joke, waitlists are wild and folk need them.

It's a disgrace is what it is.

We have been ordered to reschedule hospital appointments within 2 weeks. All time sensitive appointments such as cancer, urgent, etc are to go ahead.
Lots of us would rather work as it will mean fitting in cancelled patients around our other clinics in the next 2 weeks.....

Seems anyone who ventures out on Monday will be regarded as some sort of heathen non believer. I bet bargain booze will be open, i dont see that getting fire bombed.
-
• #3312
Well you better believe I will be, got a big job booked in.
-
• #3313
I love this and love that someone had the balls to write it.

I'll be working. Most hospitality establishments have to open as we can't afford not with astronomical costs of energy, food supplies, rents, pandemic losses etc...besides, our customers still demand their morning coffee and brekkie!

Actually British Cycling still say no club runs etc:
As a mark of respect to Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, British Cycling’s guidance is that no formal domestic activities should take place on the day of the State Funeral, Monday 19 September. This includes cycle sport events, club rides, coaching sessions and community programmes (such as Breeze rides).

Think I might pop up to Westminster and see if I can sell some marmalade sandwiches at a pound a pop.

If I had a pound for every time someone told me that she looks like the queen I wouldn't have a pound:

Mostly harmless chintz (probably wrong use of word), but Lynn Clegg's effort is truly terrifying...
Go on a group ride. If challenged, say you were chasing a fox.
It’s what she would have wanted.
