I'm sure the apple one is a bit more dear....

It’s at times like these that I actually appreciate only having to set up all my finance apps every 2 years or so.

I think I paid similar. I got is becuas I bought one and it didn't work. Apparently there are two types of cable or something and someone online said the Apple onebwirks.

Unlike my thumbs. They're numb. And I'm lazy.

Funny the 6a isn't much bigger compared to the 4a but it's feeling very unfamiliar in the first few days. I can't comprehend how people use phones that are way bigger than this

I went with the Spigen liquid air case for the pixel 6. Decent and not too bulky although not as grippy as I expected from the images.
Also, has anyone used the trade-in with the Google store? According to the terms and conditions the trade-in phone needs to be received by them within 14 days of getting the new phone. I got my phone 9 days ago and the trade-in kit hasn't yet shipped, I'm getting antsy that it will be used as an excuse not to give the full trade-in value.
I've tried to get Google to confirm I'll still get the full trade-in value but I'm either dealing with a very thick person or, more likely, a shit AI bot.

Bought the same case yesterday and same feedback on not as grippy as I thought. Yet to receive the trade in kit too despite receiving the phone within 48 hours of ordering so will let you know

I got the welcome to trade in on 1 September, trade in kit was in theory sent on 8th but the royal mail tracking still doesn't register so who knows.

I haven't done anything yet. I did try this and there's no Discover in phone settings.

Try this:
Open Google app
Tap profile top right
Settings
General
Turn discover offI also turned off swipe to access Google app by long pressing on the home screen and selecting home settings.

Ah, I was looking at phone settings not "Google" settings. Thanks.

Thanks.

I had no idea I had either of these things enabled, clearly I'd never swiped left on this phone.
I had a look at my suggested interests which it could notify me about, included such riveting stuff as "light switch", "bag" and "cast iron"

Haha, as soon as I saw one of my interests was washing machines, that shit had to go.

My 6A informs me, the update to Android 13 is available.

My android fairphone has stopped responding to Bluetooth headset remote controls... Has something changed in settings somewhere?

Has the BT headset somehow become unpaired?
USB c to headphone. I use the apple one.
