  • @Chellis88 - it was great, I would recommend.

Jimmy (the bike fitter) is very knowledgeable and I would go so far as saying it was scientific. He is an experienced bike racer and firstly wanted to understand what type of cycling I currently do and what ambitions I have in the future.

My riding position was stressed with over extending legs, feet and overarching back, all things I didn’t really notice. I only suffered a sore back and a numb toe now and again so no serious aches and pains.

We talked about the various elements that contribute to this stressed form and I got a good understanding of what each adjustment in measurement means and the knock on effects.

I’ve come away with some adjustments on my bike and a few components to upgrade.

Ultimately, I am very happy with the experience and I can’t wait to get on the roads and experience the new position.

  • Good review and thanks for writing it up. Had a look at the pricing and seems like a bit of an investment cost. Will maybe try and factor one when I buy a bike from new.

  • Do you mind me asking what you mean by 'overarching back'? Is that excessive lumbar bend? If so, what was his hypothesis?

I ask because this is something I've struggled with an 2 bike fits have provided (wildly) differing 'solutions'.
