I used to love the little Belgian place just off Dam Square called Café Belgique on Gravenstaat. Also a terrific little brown café/bar is Café Mulder on Weteringshans.
Others I've been recommended include In De Wildeman and Proeflokaal Arendsnest and Café Spuyt.

Have been enjoying everything on offer from Killarney Brewing Company whilst in Killarney the last few days. Nice to see what I assume is their core range offered at all the local food places to some capacity. Went to their taproom yesterday after a hike as well and ticked off their Nitro Porter, Irish Red Ale and their current special Hazy IPA which I haven’t seen offered anywhere else. Saw their new Brewery and Distillery location on the way to Carrauntoohil today and that looks massive as well compared to their smallish operation at the taproom.

Anyone any interest in beer swapping? I'm signed up to the Brew by Numbers monthly subscription and I've ended up with a fair few goses, saisons, sours, etc that I'm not too keen on. Happy to swap for anything interesting that isn't those basically, preferably in job lots rather than the odd can.
I'm around either turnpike lane or warren street but could venture a reasonable distance

Picked this up in my local Tesco.
Looks interesting, mint chocolate stout, 9 months aged in bourbon barrels, 12.2%, £4, 330ml.

Kernel meet the brewer/tap takeover at The Beer Shop London (Nunhead) last night. Some terrific stuff on, including Export India Porter on cask. About nine taps all Kernel, most of which should be there for a few days. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Should still have the cask EIP on (unless I go back this evening and drink it all). Imperial brown stout was tasting pretty special too.

Export India Porter on cask
Cask not keg? That would be a dream!

Uh-huh. It was a delight. I'm heading over this evening for a post-work snifter and that'll be first on the list.

Very jealous, everything they do is great but the export india porter is my favourite, at least my local cornershop has it all the time at £2.99 for the 500ml bottles. Be good if you could find out if they do the cask regularly for any other pubs?

They only have the capacity to do around 12 casks of each batch at the moment, so it rarely gets out to pubs. The cask stuff they do is mainly for their taproom, but the odd one makes its way to meet the brewer events/tap takeovers.
Know what you mean about the Export India Porter. It's outstanding.

Only other place I've seen their cask is the Sutton Arms near Smithfield Market

Only other place I've seen it is the Sutton Arms on Great Sutton Street, which is different to the one near Smithfield Market (which I think is a Fuller's pub).
Flew back yesterday 😩
