I had the muji one, it was great for a sofa bed. Was a couple of years ago so maybe not available anymore?

Its a great bed, a very average sofa.

we want to move to a fold down bed I think with build in storage surrounding it, something we need to look into next year, so we can get an actually comfy sofa in the office / 2nd guest room

I had my eye on the Northern Daybe when I was looking for one, but then we had kids and moved and both the need and the funds disappeared.

So a dining table that folds tight against the wall when not in use, and can be folded out small, or full size.

Any suggestions? I essentially want the linked table, but the company have appalling reviews so reticent to order from them!

I think they have also just paid for a bunch of fake reviews… would seem like a risk. You could buy it on a credit card and chance your luck with section 75

And yes, a lot of the positive reviews read suspiciously! I think I don't want the stress!

reverse image searching the image bring up the same item on aliexpress, alebit no cheaper - so this shop is probably just drop-selling - had the same thing with a light fitting recently and just ordered direct from aliexpress without issues.

to be fair, you might have no issues at all with weilaiconcept, but very much understand the hesitation!

I just learned that those tables were a staple in russian/soviet apartments.

I assume an Ikea Norden is not up to scratch?

Could get something from string for similar cost to the weilai link above. Not as big though . come in various colours and finishes

Ta - yeah I think that is what we're going to end up with, despite not fitting my "avoiding the look of a table pushed against the wall of a room" criteria. At least it fits the cheap/readily available sub criteria and I'll be less upset when my daugher draws all over it.

We've currently got one of these and it's actually pretty good quality.

I want a coffee table thats along the lines of this one, any suggestions?
