The Black Bays have really slim bezels as well. It always looked to me like they were trying to compensate for the case thickness (BB GMT vs Rolex for comparison)
Really interesting angle. What’s driving the thicker case on the Tudor - just a less sophisticated / miniaturised movement? Or is it a style choice?
Some of their movements are very thick - a full couple of mm thicker than the ETA equivalents. But they also leaned into that slab sided case design.
