I had considered the SL6/tarmac stems for my SL6, but ended up going for the S Works SL stem (traditional shape) as it comes in -12 also.

I didn’t like the extra lump for internal cable routing.

The previous owner also had the classic sl mounted but it was too short and only 6 deg, so i had to switch anyway

What do you mean by extra lump? The sl7 stem itself is fairly clean

I meant with the matching headset cover. The stem without doesn’t look too bad, though the cutout makes it seem incomplete.

Not a huge amount of choice when it comes to -12 stems.
