Isn't every new Tudor like (artificially scarce) this until it actually releases, and then it's fine?

Yeah, it might just take a few months. BB GMT and the blue BB58 were both like that and now they’re in every AD.

Even if you go on a list you shouldn’t be waiting all that long.

Where's this image from? I was gonna say is it preproduction or edited but looks like a store? The ones from Monochrome reeled me in but here this looks a bit flat and boring and also the text weight looks off which is messing with the spacing, makes the dial look to open. Mainly the 'Tudor logo' and 'shield'?? Dial also looks grain in texture and the one o'clock marker is off.

Think they should have stuck with the lower text layout like on the FXD, better flow I feel and still made the bezel titanium but flatter to let the dial create more contrast.

@D-Dog you’re right about the text, but that’s a fail on all modern Tudors. Loads of detail errors. The “Geneve” is too close to the logo text, “Swiss made” is too large, too many lines of text, too close to the markers, the depth rating being hyphenated instead of a spaced dash, etc etc. But the biggest typographic crime is Arial, as usual.

I remember the FXD being "scarce" on launch and chancers trying to flip them on Chrono24 for over retail.
A week later every AD window had one in.

Scarcity / exclusivity is the desired business model, it seems. Zenith were trying to make out that they're like that too for whatever Chronomaster it was they released recently. Even though no-one of any size other than Rolex and PP are actually scarce.
