Yeah, that and also I somehow managed to go from a comfortable 3 to like 10 watches which just doesn’t feel right.

Seven for daily wear. One for dress, one for summer holidays and a random or grail one?

I’m going to try and consolidate down to five, three main ones and 2 vintage.

Got this up for grabs, ye olde school 2000 series Tag H quartz, early one judging by the non coloured logo.

Thanks dood. Same! I haven't wanted to take it off since I got it really. Haven't felt that way about any watch in a really, really long time.

Simple but nice change from Oris. Can't knock 120hrs power reserve and 10 year warranty. If it was a tad smaller and a bit cheaper I think it would sway more customers away from Tudor. Never tried one but what are people's opinions on the bracelets?? Heard mixed reviews.

I'd say the 40mm Oris diver wears smaller than 40mm. The 36mm feels positively tiny and- and I much prefer a smaller watch. The lugs are really short and they curve down nicely. Its a good size for a lot of people IMO.

I don't like the height of the numerals in the data window though - they look too stretched out - and the fact that the type on the bezel/date are different. I also think this needs a dive bezel rather than this 12 hour thing.

Movement looks nice, though.

Thanks for the feedback. That's interesting as I have skinny wrists, so sounds promising size wise. Like the specs of the movement, not really a fan of seeing it though, especially on a diver, a high-end dress watch is different. Quite a price increase because of the movement upgrade which is to be expected but then it pushes them close to Tudor prices and I think they may struggle in that sense. As I said, never tried one to be fair but I find that the difference in bracelet quality can easily sway buyers if not bang on with brands that would only charge a few hundred more for a well manufactured one.

Rule number one, you never buy an Oris at MSRP. Ever. BB58 is $3900 on bracelet over here and the Oris is $3700. I expect that Oris to go for $2775.

OK if @PawG is flogging his Speedy Mk2 then I htink I have to get a wiggle on with flogging my 2020 hesalite to pay for it:

Steel bracelet, hesalite, 2020 model, comes with box, papers, receipt, tool and eyeglass thing, plus a few aftermarket straps - an Uncle Seiko speedmaster strap, and a few extra NASA velcro straps including a posh Joseph Bonnie one.

How do people get along with steel bracelets without micro adjust? In the winter I wanted to remove a link because it was so loose and now it's like this most of the time...

That watch pretty-much ticks every box I have (including 12h faux GMT) but I’m still not smitten.

I like what they've done with the sunray finishes and the composite lume block markers.

Inside is the Tudor manufacture calibre MT5400, the very same calibre used in the Black Bay Fifty-Eight line. Therefore I would infer the thickness of the watch will be not far beyond 12mm or so.
