• Well it wasn’t something we were thinking about one way or another tbh.
We don’t need a big car for long trips or bike hauling - we’ve got a ‘93 t4 that fills that purpose.
My commute is 60 miles per day in total, up and down the motorway. We park on the street so cheap, small and unassuming makes more sense than another silly car.

I take your point on the stop gap wheeler dealer buy but I’m just not that into cars enough to want to deal with it.

I’ll get another stupid car for a bit in the future.

I know that feeling, my petrolhead mates will chop and change at the drop of a hat, mainly as they can deal with car stuff and navigate the market without stress. If I had those skills I'd have probably owned more than 2 different cars in the last 12 or so years.

My random "playing with filters on autotrader pick" to suit your needs, lol.
    https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202207017351123 unfortunately in Birmingham

ULEZ, not too big, under 5k, decent mpg for motorway commuting, and it looks nice.
