Our rad little c70 convertible went bang bang today down in dorset. Main drive into the gearbox snapped apparently. It’s a write off as even a clutch replacement is almost as much as it’s worth.
Managed to get recovered to a place nearby who’ll look at it in the morning but it’s probably terminal.
Got a year out of it, was fun but such is life.
Got the joy of a 3hr ride to work tomorrow so I can borrow the works Luton til something gets sorted.
Luckily we were on a family holiday so dad(40yrs in motor industry) swung into action.
Now on a train home while scouring autotrader to find something else and trying to find a breakers down in dorset to weigh in the Volvo with.
I really wish I didn’t need a car in my life but hey ho.
