No, I remember something along those lines.
Perhaps try the "where did I see that" [?] thread.
Shame Oliver isn't around, as he seems to remember everything forum-related.

Yeah that's the one, found it this morning and didn't get around to answering my own question.

Any suggestions for an air mattress - for home use for guests.

Actual benefits by going with a Cane Creek Hellbender 70 or 110 over a 40?
Would actually be used in wet/muddy/bad conditions year round. -

Forgive me, had my first hangover in 6 months today.

Intex, look no further. Plugs into the wall, inflates and deflates quickly, can get very firm.

110 if you want lifetime guarantee, 70 if you want their best headset without the lifetime guarantee, 40 if you're on a budget but would like a decent headset.
I use a 40, but I am a bit of a tight arse.
Just clean the seals every so often, and whichever one you get should last a good while. -

I was planning to get an Intex one but couldn't find any in stock.
Ended up with this which has been fine

70 seems very nicely made- I’ve got a couple.

Can’t always get frame weights from manufacturers, d’you reckon an alloy XC frame with 100mm rear shock would weigh less than a steel hardtail? Say, Fairlight Holt or similar.

Roughly the same, give or take money.

Is there a simple way to see which users have posted most often within a thread?
-
• #114066
If you have a shortlist, you can do a count for each, e.g. this DJ bloke has posted 1639 times in AQA

They are a needy twat!
So no way to quickly work out who are the main posters on a thread

They are a needy twat!
Depends on whether they're asking or answering.

It didn't work unfortunately. Seems like the axle is a smidge too short indeed as was @TotalShanner s comment.
I have a feeling getting a wavey washer wouldn't leave me have enough torque/thread to get it snug enough.
What do I do? Get bb reamed to gain a mil? Throw it in a fiery pit?
But miffed, the rotor bb30 wasn't cheap..getting @gbj_tester involved might also be a good idea..

Any suggestions for nice walks around Orpington or Sevenoaks (easily accessible by train from my place)? Probably a couple of hours worth of walking ideally.

It's only a mil too short?
You took the preload adjuster off? -

I want some swept back bars to make my wife's Kona nunu more comfortable and a bit more upright. 25.4mm clamp.
I've just found these that look the ticket - lots of sweep, bit of rise. Is there anything else I should be considering?
https://freshtripe.co.uk/velo-orange-left-bank-handlebar/Looking at the image of her riding, it seems like I don't want full sweep, right?
Perhaps these?

These look great, but are a bit too expensive for taking such a random punt on

#internetbikefit and all that, but it looks like lowering the saddle might make enough of a difference to make bar swaps moot

Ergotec have all sorts of touring/trekking bars in fairly similar shapes. The set I used to have were ridiculously heavy though, not sure how those VO ones compare!

He was, it wasn't 🙂
Useful to know, ta.
