frank vs lampard today

A tedious part that really dampens the spectacle sure. And it's cheating.
Why is there any need for the game to accommodate this form of time wasting I don't know.

The more I watch Everton the more I wonder how they make good, experienced defenders look so bad.

• #162080
That’s the Lampard effect for you.

Fabrizio Romano reporting reporting that we've signed Renan Lodi. Bit of an upgrade on playing Jack Colback at left-back.

• #162082
How many is that now? Must be nearly 2 full sides.

• #162083
When is Omar Richards due back?
-
• #162084
I think it's another 6 weeks. With five subs and the importance of wing-backs in our system we need both of them, plus Tuffolo 😁

Cant believe we are top, bet he wishes he stayed at Reading :)

9-0 feels like an appropriate punishment for wearing a £800 cardigan.

and he was wearing it inside out, you could clearly see the label

Seeing Juergen Kloop approach Scott Parker for a touchline arm around shoulder mid game, was the highlight yesterday .. yes Liverpool’s devastating form was impressive but that gesture speaks volumes and why I continue to admire him
-
• #162089
Even if I think he meant well, it looked a bit patronising.

Antony going to United for €100m is almost as comical as us going for Gordon. It all feels a bit like that I saw you coming sketch
-
• #162091
Gerrard.... I think you are not going to make it here.
-
• #162092
Lampard too if I’m being totally honest. He’s probably got a bit of time but I’ve not seen much that makes me think he knows what he’s doing.

that
neco williamstackle on richarlison yesterday, just seconds after he did some ball jugglingwell in neco lad -
• #162094
Surprised he wasn't red carded. Yes Richarlison was taking the piss but that tackle was violent and dangerous
-
• #162095
It was Brennan Johnson who actually took him out, Williams just tumbled over him afterwards. Johnson got a yellow for it.
Don’t think it was particularly dangerous though, just swiped his legs. The last replay angle shows that, a deserved yellow but never a red. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U2q0YGaLsa8

Three wins from last 15 PL games (Norwich, Burnley, Everton) doesn’t suggest progress, rather the obvious. And that record is going to look even worse after the next two games.
No idea on replacement but time to put us out of Gerard’s relentless misery
-
• #162097
Has he had a whole season yet?
-
• #162098
32 PL games
-
• #162099
No, a couple of months off.
Rumours starting to come out about unhappy dressing room - not surprising with the way some are being treated.
Likely to get spanked in the next 2 games and be at the bottom so I hope the owners are sounding out a replacement. -

Any thoughts on the replacement?
In St Pauli news, Mrs Bearlegged and I were starting to worry we were a bit of a hex for German teams, (our previous outing to the Bundesliga resulting in a historically bad loss for Hertha Berlin).
FCSP had the majority of the play, but were hit with a 44th minute sucker punch on the break for Paderborn, who then had VAR rule out a second goal for offside midway through the second half. Hopes were raised with an equaliser with 7 minutes left, before an added 6 minutes saw both teams get another and it ended up 2-2. Beer and bretzels were predictably excellent.
