In St Pauli news, Mrs Bearlegged and I were starting to worry we were a bit of a hex for German teams, (our previous outing to the Bundesliga resulting in a historically bad loss for Hertha Berlin).
FCSP had the majority of the play, but were hit with a 44th minute sucker punch on the break for Paderborn, who then had VAR rule out a second goal for offside midway through the second half. Hopes were raised with an equaliser with 7 minutes left, before an added 6 minutes saw both teams get another and it ended up 2-2. Beer and bretzels were predictably excellent.

It was Brennan Johnson who actually took him out, Williams just tumbled over him afterwards. Johnson got a yellow for it.

Three wins from last 15 PL games (Norwich, Burnley, Everton) doesn’t suggest progress, rather the obvious. And that record is going to look even worse after the next two games.

Rumours starting to come out about unhappy dressing room - not surprising with the way some are being treated.
Likely to get spanked in the next 2 games and be at the bottom so I hope the owners are sounding out a replacement.
