I thought the opening in Netherlands showed that a foreign start doesn't necessarily make things more interesting but it's been good since it got back to Spain.
Talking of foreign starts, it's been a while since anyone talked about the Giro or the Tour starting in the US. With a bit of luck environmental concerns will have been the final nail in that idiotic coffin.
