On the 6a, how do I stop Google randomly suggesting shit like "x has a new single out" and "Trek recalls some stupid fucking handlebar" and stuff like that?

Seems to be working for me.

Used as each time I moved from household wifi to cellular network there was a deluge of notifications.

Seems to be working for me.

As @hippy may have already discovered this isn't the right way to get rid of the Google suggestions.

Search for 'discover' in settings and turn it off.
