What did you do?

Something - I'm guessing a rock - hit the screen at 130kph on the auto-route on the way to Morzine. Instant big chip, and it's got three legs which are gradually spreading out.
It's literally in front of my eyes, as I sit behind the wheel.

Seen prices for a proper mk1 panda. They are the go anywhere vehicle.
-
• #72205
Is it the same as the fiat 500/panda 4x4?
-
• #72206
Duster is popular and cheap to service as the bits are all renault. A few years ago they were very cheap new was it with the scrapage scheme so quite a few around.

Here we go, after never seeing one, as soon as lynx mentions one someone turns up to my local classic car meet in a Renault Rodeo.

If it ain’t a Citroen Mehari, it can get in the sea

What was next to the Rodeo, a Panard 24? The Lotus elan convertable with aways be a cute car because of Emma Peel.
Can't work out the car at the end and I'm tired. Keep thinking Audi or Fiat for the rear lights.

There was one of those too.
-
• #72211
Indeed. Panard 24, then a picnic table then a Lotus Elan +2, and the red saloon is a VW/NSU K70. Behind that a yellow Fiat Barchetta
-
• #72212
Panard do have a very unique look. Never seen K70, interesting vehicle tho from the search and according the classic car article ony800 made it to the Uk and 200, ooo overall.

Yetis are great. A small SUV that isn't for cunts. The seats pull out on mine. I'm 185cm and can sleep in the back okay.
Small enough for narrow lanes, big enough to fit a few bikes in, fast enough for motorways and reasonably efficient for a 4x4 shaped like a brick.
Not the best value for money as they're quite sort after now. Rumour has it VW pulled it as they were taking too many people away from a Tiguan.

Not awful aftermarket cup holder suggestions and clever places to put them? Recaro and Thule both do nice looking designs made for strollers but not convinced i could mount them onto anything in my car interior. The Saab has a very well laid out interior but i'm stuggling to find a suitable location (don't want it/them on the top of the dash)

it’s a fiat 124sport, thought was a Fulvia but the rear3/4 window doesn’t have the flat top bit before the slope on the Lancia.

Dash looks superb. Don't spoil it. Just drink when you arrive
-
• #72218
BQ said it is a K70 VW. Quite rare.

@lynx @bq My Dad had a K70 1800 for a while, nippy for it's day but they were recommended to run on five star fuel and coming out during the seventies oil crisis it was a short lived run.
Had some quirky design features, you could do the clutch without removing the gearbox, the engine ran anti clockwise, had inboard discs reducing the sprung weight at the wheel :) -

Allegedly only 800 came to the UK!

• #72221
Are there door pockets you could use?
-

Interior looks great. I wouldn't want any food or drink in it! But also, I've never seen a decent aftermarket cup holder. My 306 has nowhere to put one and on occasion it would be nice...
There's a guy near me that drives a 900 in dark metallic grey with the camel interior. It's so nice.

You could look at original 996 cup holders- they require three holes in (in the 996) the vent surround.
Once fitted they are very secure, but remove instantly with almost no evidence of their presence.
It requires three holes- albeit in very specific locations:

Probably the wrong thread and should post in he EV thread. But looking around at the new MG4 EV and looks pretty decent for price and range.
Ya or Na?

Not my interior sadly although mine isn't far off on a good day. The horrible tax disc holder has gone and there's a relatively low key head unit in there now that i can match the display colour to the dash lights.
camel interior
Yeah my favourite, although i'm pretty happy with my Ruby special edition interior as it has Zegna wool inserts.
I wouldn't want any food or drink in it!
This is our only car and on occasion does some 3 hour + trips with my partner and i and a big dog. I figured a cup holder or two might make things a little easier over those longer journeys. Don't get me started on my girlfriend smashing through large bags of kettle chips and humous whilst my dog dribbles on the back seat.
Surprisingly thin on the ground in France.
