In other news- the guy I was riding with yesterday wears a POC chest/back protector.
We got chatting about it and he mentioned that there was no way he’d be riding what we were riding at the speed we were riding it without the armour.
As someone who has cracked ribs and partially deflated a lung in a crash I admit I’m starting to think about it.
Does anyone else wear more than knee pads when in high speed/high consequence terrain?
Most of motorbike world is now using d3O or some sort of it. I’ve got it on two suits and last crash I had, it saved my ass. No brainier to use it these days on any type of heavy two wheeled riding.
