Little details like exit for my bladder hose with just a fine little orange accent.
And the same on the cute little stiches on the nds pocket.

Regarding your folding bike project, maybe take a look at CdM 2021? Part of the brief was that "all entries are able to be easily dismantled to a size small enough to arrive car-free on an SNCF train – just 120 centimetres long and 90 centimetres high".

Thanks. I'll have a look

That's great, do you mind sharing what it cost? I'm guessing you get a volume discount though 🙂

I was asked to order a stem bag in the webshop and note that is was really a camera strap in the comment.

We are swapping services so I can't tell you. But it's nicely made and the hardware is great.

How are you finding the xpro-1? I think when I eventually get round to upgrading my X100s I may get an Xpro.

I love it. I am trying to ignore newer models.

Got a Stridsland chainring and some pink extraction caps for my Richey logic cranks. Thx @t0-ster !
Went for a 36T chainring again but matched with a 10sp 11-46T Deore casette it gives me all the range I need for this monster.
To make it all work I used a Wolf tooth goat link 11. Might need a slightly longer b screw. But I've only ridden it 7km so far so not sure yet.
Chainring might need to go on the inside of the crank spider. Chainline is a bit BOOST right now. But it looked better ☺️

Solid drive train. ‘Lo’ gear, it’s right on the cranks.

on 10spd Ive found this to give much nicer chain lines. You can always chop the tabs off an old black ring maybe to make it look a bit tider? Like these

I think I'll just live with it. But a bash guard is the plan for that monster rinko build, to combat that same issue.
But I do have this almost new salsa 94bcd I could kill and make into a fancy bash guard. Seems wasteful

Speaking of Stridsland. I've been chipping away at this MTB frame and fork mod over the summer.
This guy approached me a while back and said all the right things about supporting your local framebuilder etc. I took the bait and here I am putting disc tabs on a gas pipe 26er and chopping perfectly fine Pipe Dream 29er forks to fit a 26" wheel.
I told him to buy a Stridsland fork, but he insisted I gave it a go and used this otherwise no good to him pair of forks.
Anyways, I cut out the swoopy bit and made a bi-lam segmented fork crown.
It all ended up a bit medieval but it fits the frame disc tab and over all idea very well :)I was very skeptical about this to say the least, but you know what? I have actually been enjoying myself a bit with this. I quite like this kind of bricolage framebuilding. Make with what you have. It is liberating as it limits design choices to do what is right within the set boundaries.
