I have some really deep, crusty, large scabs on both knees. They were that bad that I was prescribed antibiotics. What is recommended for keeping them moisturised so that they don't keep cracking? Seen vaseline suggested, but that sounds a bit messy, and I don't want to invite any infection or dirt, as antibiotics course finished today.
