Looking for a cost effective GoPro type camera. We used to have a GoPro Session, which was brilliant but now lost.
It's only for simple holiday memories with the kids and must work in the water. Any recommendations that don't break the bank?

Why is accommodation in Chepstow thin on the ground? Is there actually normal people stuff happening there or what?
-
• #113707
Horse race course there, might be some horse racing on so horse races fans booked all the accommodation?

This weekend and next weekend have both been chockas. Is everyone trying to find water or something by heading to Wales. Fucksake I just wanna ride up some hills that are marginally less full of cars than the M25.

Anyone got any clever ideas for a solid shim to bring a ?mm diam pipe to 31.8mm? I guess if I found some 31.8mm PVC pipe or something I could slice it so it compresses a bit. Trying to stabilise the Garmin on my aerobar cross mount thing and because it's shimmed with a bunch of soft stuff, taping the mount to the extension ends up dragging the Garmin sideway.

You can mould pvc if you heat it. Just be careful to do it outside/not to breath/keep any fumes out of your eyes, and don’t let it catch fire.

I'm far more likely to look in the kitchen cupboard and trim a bit off the vacuum cleaner hose.
What I could look for is a better aerobar mount. Most rattle or won't fit my setup.

don’t let it catch fire.
Now now. Let's be sensible about our suggestions, people.

Is PVC pipe (the white stuff) joined along the side(s) from two half pipes?
Or is it extruded/formed as a solid tube?

Green Gathering festival was this weekend in the park next to the racecourse. I've just got back from it. Whilst I can't imagine many of the attendees were heading off to stay in local accommodation maybe some of the artists/speakers would have done.

What are the different colours for? Do they mean anything or are they just for colour coordination of your shit pipes?
-
• #113721
Sorry, was out on a walk to Park Wood.
As far as I know, the colours are purely for aesthetic considerations, no functional difference. -

Does anyone know anything about vintage saxophones and accessories? I’ve inherited a box of miscellany and in it I’ve found a vintage, brass, Selmer mouthpiece that’s marked made in England.

I don't but if you I know a man who does - if you post a photo I can send it to him and ask his opinion?

Ordered some stuff last week. The valuable bit of the order arrived, one small thing missing. Pretty low cost item. 30 quid or so. Told the supplier they missed it from the order, they sent a replacement out on a priority from Sweden on Friday. DHL today have delivered it. But not to me. They've got a photo of it sticking out of a letterbox. There's no note saying where the letter box is. It's not either of my neighbours. I walked up and down the street earlier (it's quite a distinctive door from the photo). Can't see it. I've filled out a form on their website as there's no means to raise a ticket directly on the tracking page. Wait it out? I gave permission to leave it in a safe place. I don't really want to go back to the supplier again.
Yeah, just don't go too mad
