Just bought then from the supermarket, they were supposedly Normandy Oysters from Omaha Beach (the D Day beach) and checking Normandy Oysters are out of season. So no idea what type of oyster they were.

But tasty.

Was there last week - near Houlgate. No oysters were had, but had some fantastic moules a la creme on the quayside in Honfleur and we bbq’d some lobster from the Houlgate fish market. I wish I was still there - three weeks sounds like a dream.
