I'm not sure I hate this, so maybe the wrong thread - but:

Damascus steel is a very specific thing, and it's absolutely not "I welded ball bearings into an angle iron box then stuck it in the forge and hammered the shit out of it, here's a knife I made from it with circles on the blade, please like and subscribe".

When a video hosted online somewhere manages to load the adverts perfectly then for some reason not load the actual video, then when you refresh the page yet more adverts start up before the video again which manages to load straight away the second time.

Also that more and more sites require the window to be open in order to play the adverts and they'll pause otherwise, meaning I have a few windows floating around with adverts playing whilst I get on with actual useful stuff on another window. Swear I had a case the other day where the player had to actually be visible, if it was obscured by another window it paused as well.

Several apps out there that use your front facing camera to assess your mood or focus. I reckon camera monitored banner ads will be along sooner than we thought. Fuck that shit.

Happened to be doing some stuff on 4od just now and it's that one that I must have found it with. If you have a window with the adverts running and then full screen another window (anything, not just your web browser) the adverts stop playing.

That would be forgivable; but alas no, it seems to be the latest thing for middle aged blokes in mediocre cars driving around like this. Considering right-hand drive cars and most people being right handed, the lack of control these people must have over their vehicles is alarming; presumably steering with their knees when changing gear, adjusting the radio, checking their phones etc..
