I picked up a deore front disk brake to use on a midnight special fork not thinking that mtb & road flat-mount callipers might be different. Google suggests I'm wrong & I can't seem to find a suitable adapter.
Can I buy a road disk calliper & use the deore lever or do I need to buy a whole new brake?
Flat mount is flat mount, generally road use but there are MTB things, mainly XC that have started to use it, post mount is what you've bought, you can just swap the caliper. There are flat mount to post mount adapters (search that) but they're ugly.
