And I picked up another project, another Diamondback ascent but this one is the Ex. Nice pink colour, deore LX hubs and RD, Sugino cranks, threadless steerer, true temper. It's got gripshift, which I will of course be throwing straight in the (metaphorical) bin so I'm going to go 1x9 since it's 8 speed. I can use a wide-range 9 speed cassette I already have and technically I can use the current RD with a goat link kind of thing?
I really like the combo of pink and green so maybe thinking a few small green anodised parts to go with it.
