99% sure they do a paid for repair service. I had expected to pay to be honest, was an end of line bargain light and a few years after I’d bought it!
I’d email them and see what they say, else I think someone over on bearbonesbikepacking has replaced the batteries themselves (and so opened it up. Think one end is threaded, but couldn’t remember which!

Thanks. Sounds like it was still in warranty? This damage wont be covered unfortunately. I'm wondering if they do a paid service.
