It's as sound as it's going to get for a 100yr old wall, I rebuilt most of it as it was a crumbling mess.
Fence will be slated, 900mm high and tied in to these two adjacent runs, so I think it'll be fine in regards to wind. It's a fairly sheltered spot anyway do to the adjacent terrace.

Make sure the wall is absolutely sound or the addition of what is effectively a bloody great sail could pull the lot down in a gale!
